What is a mini Momoyama mooncake?
A mini Momoyama mooncake is a small baked Cantonese mooncake, 70g, in La Levain’s Momoyama skin. A full-sized mooncake is 185g, so a mini is a little over a third of one. That makes it an easy thing for one person to finish, which is why this range is where Chef Wythe puts his more experimental flavours.

What flavours are in the 2026 Mini Momoyama range?
Four:
– Mango Pomelo with Grapefruit — Singapore’s favourite dessert as a mooncake, built with Taiwanese Aiwen mango, candied pomelo zest and grapefruit for a sharper finish.
– Peach Jasmine Oolong — two lotus pastes, one oolong and one oolong-jasmine, with candied white peach. The hardest one in the range to get right, and years in the making.
– Illy Coffee Lava — 100% Arabica Illy coffee through the paste, with a coffee lava centre.
– Fleur de Cao with Mochi — cookies and cream, rebuilt as a mooncake with La Levain’s signature Fleur de Cao cookie, Belgian chocolate lotus and a mochi centre.

Who are mini mooncakes for?
Anyone who wants to taste more than one flavour, and anyone buying for someone whose taste they don’t know. Eight small pieces share more easily around a table than four large ones, and a 70g mooncake is an easier first mooncake than a full-sized one.

How should I store mini Momoyama mooncakes?
Keep them in a cool dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight, at room temperature. No refrigeration needed. Once a box is opened, close the tin again to keep the skin from drying out.
