La Levain’s SG61 National Day collection runs from 1 to 15 August 2026 at our bakery at 23 Hamilton Road, Jalan Besar, while stocks last. Six local flavour bakes and one drink, priced from $3 to $16.80: Pandan Kaya Toast with Eggs, Sourdough Kaya Toast with Eggs, Pandan Chiffon Cake, Ondeh Ondeh Cake, Pandan Mochi Taro Tart and a Creamy Taro Latte.
Every August the same thing happens in Singapore. We look forward to infusing local flavours into our menu.
So this year Chef Wythe took the flavours most of us grew up on and put them through a French bakery. Pandan. Kaya. Gula melaka. Coconut. Taro. Nothing reinvented beyond recognition, nothing dressed up to look clever. Just the taste of a kopitiam morning, made with the butter, the sourdough starter and the patience we use on our croissants.
